Hidden gem: Westin launches new Cache Modular extractor

Named modular in recognition of its performance levels which can be tailored and built to suit cooking needs, and ‘cache’ which means ‘hidden’ in French, Westin’s new Cache Modular is ideal for kitchens where flexibility of both performance and energy consumption are required.

Each Cache Modular motor is 550mm wide and a combination of one main with one or two additional units can be used to cover hobs 1100mm and 1650mm wide. Regardless of whether two or three modular units are used, each can still be used independently, tailoring performance to usage requirements. Whatever the configuration of units, Westin has designed the Cache Modular to look seamlessly connected from underneath despite being separate modules.

The new product allows customers to use one 550mm unit on its own when boiling eggs and pasta or to combine two or three of these units when more demanding cooking is involved.

Westin’s Sales & Marketing Manager Ann Onions says:

“We always innovate on the back on customer feedback and requirements. The Cache Modular meets the needs of kitchen designers for their customers, whatever their cooking prowess may be, in a way that keeps energy output low and the ‘cache’ hidden style of the extractor. Already the feedback is that our customers are loving the flexibility of this new product.”
